Streetlight Controllers

The City of Colorado Springs and Colorado Springs Utilities tested streetlight controllers which provided information such as energy usage, outages, day burning streetlights, and more. The controllers also allowed for streetlight dimming for energy savings.

5G

5G is the next generation of cellular connectivity. The City of Colorado Springs has partnered with several City departments, including Planning, Public Works, and Colorado Springs Utilities to develop requirements and processes for the private sector providers who want to deploy 5G small cells within the City.
