Following the City Council Regular Meeting on April 13th, the City will begin renovations to the historic City Council Chambers in City Hall. Construction is estimated to take a total of 18 weeks, which puts the projected completion date towards the end of August. During construction, City Council Chambers will be unavailable for all City Council, Planning Commission, and Downtown Review Board meetings. All of these public meetings will be held at the Colorado Springs Utilities Blue River Board Room at Plaza of the Rockies starting with the April 20th City Council Special Meeting.

During this time, Citizens will still not be allowed to view Council meetings in person but can continue to watch them through SpringsTV and comment at Regular Meetings by calling into the meeting. Due to local public health restrictions, City Hall is still closed to the public until further notice.

This will also be the final meeting of the current seated City Council before the new Councilmembers are sworn in on April 20th.
