In November 2024, the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) reported a total of 195,258 passengers, with 98,907 of them enplaning at the airport. Year-to-date, COS has enplaned 1,136,473 passengers and welcomed a total of 2,266,326 travelers through its terminal. Although the November numbers show a slight decline, total passengers and enplanements have increased by 6.1 percent and 5.9 percent, respectively, compared to the previous year.

Load factors dipped slightly to 77 percent, which is 5.5 percent lower than the average load factor for November 2024. However, the number of available seats decreased slightly to 128,460, representing only a 0.5 percent change from the same time last year.

Looking ahead, COS has exciting developments on the horizon. Allegiant Airlines will begin new service in February 2025, offering three nonstop routes to:

  • Phoenix/Mesa, Arizona via Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA) – beginning February 12, 2025 (seasonal)
  • Santa Ana/Orange County, California via John Wayne Airport, Orange County (SNA) – beginning February 13, 2025
  • St. Pete/Tampa, Florida via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) – beginning February 14, 2025

Additionally, Southwest Airlines has announced plans to start seasonal service to Cancun, Mexico (CUN) on June 7, 2025, marking COS’ first international destination.

As the holiday season approaches, COS will be running a holiday parking promotion. Travelers can take advantage of 50 percent off daily long-term parking at just $4 a day from December 20, 2024, to January 2, 2025. This promotion provides an excellent opportunity for passengers to save on parking during their holiday travel.
