CSPD Teen Cadets Honored

The Community Relations Unit and School Resource Officer Unit are proud to announce the amazing accomplishments of the Colorado Springs Police Department Teen Cadet Program at the 2023 L.E.E.P.A.A.C Conference. The conference had 25 teams comprised of close to 200 cadets from Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, and Texas. The CSPD Teen Cadets participated in several individual and small team competitions and ultimately took home several awards.

Mayor Yemi, City Council announce listening tour starting in August

Colorado Springs residents are invited to Mayor Yemi Mobolade and Colorado Springs City Council’s 2023 Listening Tour. The seven-stop tour, in partnership with CONO, will gather input from residents to help set the strategic direction of the City. The tour, which is part of Mayor Yemi’s First 100 Days Blueprint, will include a stop in each of the City’s six City Council districts, and will also include an online listening session.

Mayor Yemi Mobolade provided a progress report Wednesday on his First 100 Days BlueprintMayor Yemi has made establishing the right government culture, improving community outreach, and expanding opportunities for public input his top priorities for the first 100 days, while also working to solve our city’s challenges around public safety, infrastructure, and economic vitality. Residents can follow the specific progress being made at ColoradoSprings.gov/100Days.
