About

The Community Development Division awards federal grant funds to local nonprofits that provide vital services and quality of live improvements for special needs and low-income residents. Funds must be used to benefit primarily low- and moderate-income residents. The City’s annual goals for the use of funds are developed with community and citizen participation and published in the Annual Action Plan and Consolidated Plan.

The Community Development Block Grant Public Services funds are awarded through a competitive application process and direct awards to nonprofit agencies that carry out direct services.
